A technical debt tracking document created during the v0.10.7 TTL bug investigation. Documents 11 categories of type validation issues that were systematically resolved across v0.10.8 through v0.10.10.

**Why archived**: All identified issues have been resolved. The document is preserved to:

* Show the evolution of type safety in the codebase
* Demonstrate systematic technical debt resolution
* Provide historical context for validation patterns
* Serve as a reference for similar future investigations

**Key takeaway**: The codebase evolved from "fail late at GraphQL" to "fail early with clear errors" through:

* Pydantic validation for all dict inputs (50+ methods)
* Standardized boolean return patterns (40 methods)
* ID and range validation with clear error messages
* Type coercion with validation (verify\_ssl, port, etc.)

## Adding to Archive

When archiving documentation:
